Presyo ng face mask, pumalo na daw sa P500 kada isa; netizen nagreklamo

Laman ng mga balita ngayon sa social media ang lantarang pagtaas ng presyo ng mga face mask sa merkado.

Hanggang ngayon kasi ay nag-aalburoto pa rin ang Bulkang Taal dahilan upang mapilitang magsuot ang mga tao ng N95 mask para sa proteksyon sa ash fall.

Isang netizen ang nagreklamo dahil sa mataas na presyo ng nasabing face mask. Ayon sa kanyang Facebook story na ibinahagi ng isang Facebook page na Pinoy Trend, nagkakahalaga ng ng P500 ang isang N95 mask. Ang presyo ay sobrang mataas kumpara sa orihinal na presyo nito.

Dahil dito, nagpakalat na ng team ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) para bantayan ang presyuhan ng face masks sa merkado.

Ayon sa DTI, ang sinumang mahuhuling nagpatupad ng hindi makatwirang pagtaas sa presyo ng face masks, gas masks at mga kahalintulad na produkto ay maarig maparusahan.

Kasong kriminal ang maaring kaharapin ng mge business entities o indbidwal na nananamantala.
