Rename NAIA back to its original name Manila International Airport (MIA) - Petition asks

Back in 1987, Manila International Airport (MIA) was renamed to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) through Republic Act No. 6639 which was enacted without executive approval on November 27, 1987. 

Reading RA 6639, one can't find a valid reason why the country's main airport should be named after Ninoy Aquino, Jr., who was a former senator and convicted in 1977 by a military court of subversion and murder. Thus, Ninoy Aquino is not a hero/patriot for inspiration and emulation of this generation and generations still unborn.  He was clearly a POLITICIAN and by naming the Philippine's main airport to his name is an insult to all Filipino heroes who died for the country and not for political ambition.

Now, the People of the Republic of the Philippines is urging the Philippine Congress, through Senators Dick Gordon, Migz Zubiri, and Manny Pacquiao as co-authors, to repeal RA 6639 and rename NAIA back to its original name Manila International Airport (MIA).

DOST-ITDI develops 3D printed respirators and ventilator parts

The Department of Science and Technology-Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI) has developed a 3D printed respirator venturi valves for the use in treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients. In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the DOST-ITDI said it has delivered last April 14 the two prototypes of 3D printed respirator venturi valves to the National Children’s Hospital in Quezon City. The department said there are 3D printed prototypes of parts of the Multiple Patient Ventilator Splitter and Mechanic Ventilator-Mini-War-Zone that were also made.
