It’s not enough that Yoly Ong condemned the victims of the recent earthquake that hit Mindanao, she’s now promoting discrimination in her latest tweet…
The Mindanaoans who are not DDS need all the help and prayers. Choose the relief orgns that you can trust not to steal your contribution. Bangon mabubuting tao ng Mindanao.

This is exactly what happened during the relief efforts for the super typhoon Yolanda. Instead of giving the relief goods indiscriminately, the yellows in charge only wanted to help yellow voters.
Funny enough, Ong defers to “karma” for her hoped-for vindication.
To all the DDS who protest the “politicalization” of the Davao earthquakes, please put your money where your mouth is. Donate some of your earnings to the victims and survivors. Then we all shut up 🤐 and pray🙏. Good? If not, as always the curses will reap their just karma.

Karma, she says? The Liberal Party has been experiencing karma since 2016: Mar Roxas lost his presidential bid, Leni Robredo’s win is being questioned, Ferdinand Marcos’s burial went ahead, Leila De Lima got locked up, Lourdes Sereno was removed from the Supreme Court, all Liberal Party bets for the senate lost in 2019 elections, and many more.
So Ong still thinks the earthquake was due to karma?! She also thinks the victims were cursed…damn! She can’t put a lid on it. No wonder Leni is popular with them. They are all the same. They are callous and insensitive! The voters should remember this in the next election.
Recall earlier Ong’s now-infamous non-apology…
I deleted my Davao disaster tweet even if the intention was clearly to jolt the DDS into an awakening. My Davao friends did not feel alluded to at all. Anyway, to avoid anymore sensitivity...

Clearly this doesn’t make any sense. Why would an earthquake or any natural disaster jolt voters? A natural occurrence doesn’t happen based on one’s voting preference.

The palusot is still palpak! Some people prefer to dig themselves deeper into a hole rather than apologise.

The self-righteousness and hypocrisy of activists ruin otherwise noble advocacies

Photo from getrealphilippines.com There are a lot of hypocrites in the Philippines. I think it has something to do with the country being religious. Mind you, being religious is different from being spiritual. Being religious is easy. It’s simply following dogma or “set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true”. One doesn’t have to think much when one chooses to be religious. As a matter of fact, a lot of religious folks don’t think. They just follow whatever everyone else is doing in their religious organisation. Being spiritual is something else. It means being in tune with yourself and other people. It has more to do with following the natural flow of things. When someone is spiritual, it means he or she is in touch with everything around him or her. I think it’s the opposite of being religious because when a person is spiritual, that person is aware of her surroundings as opposed to blocking out what is happening in real life. Religious people tend ...

"Bigyan ng chance", Lawyer reminds of Gloria's schemes, but admits she might be what PH needs

Attorney Trixie Cruz-Angeles and former President Gloria Arroyo, photo  compiled from Facebook and  ABS-CBN News Attorney Trixie Cruz-Angeles said that she does not fail to acknowledge that former President Gloria Arroyo had her misdeeds, but she just might be what is needed in the Congress. This remark was shared via a Facebook post which was subsequent to Arroyo's recent jump from Pampanga 2nd district representative to Speaker of the House of Representatives this Monday. Arroyo, who was previously  detained for her alleged graft and corruption during her presidency, rose to the position just moments before President Rodrigo Duterte's State of the Nation Address, replacing Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez. "Lets just call it what it is and not make any heroes or martyrs out of flawed (possibly criminal) politicians. GMA as Speaker is political expediency. Speaker Alvarez, while good at passing the president's legislation, was hampered by bad relations ...
